Power of Being Positive
I spent last week at the National Association of Realtors conference in Boston. I have never been to Boston and it was a great city to see with such a rich history. I saw so many great speakers, presentations and things that can make my business so much better. There were so many vendors in the expo selling things that could make my day easier, but I didn't buy any of those. The one thing I did bring home with me is the power of positivity. It's so hard to always be positive, especially when things are not going well in your personal life or business.
Mel Robbins was one of the speakers. If you don't know who Mel is, you should look her up. I had never seen her speak and was very excited. She tells her story on how her family was down and out and had to build themselves back up. She talks about her 5 Second Rule and how it changed her life. I always have a hard time listening to speakers talk about the power of positivity and how to do certain things to make your life better. Mel made me realize it can happen. We all can do it. We get back from the universe what we put out there. Our goals should be written down, tell people what it is you want...no, you cannot just say you want a million dollars and it show up. You still have to work, we all do, but the more we put it out in the universe we want to be successful, we want to take a vacation, we want to live a happier life, we want to buy a house...it will come true. If we spend all of our time being negative, are we getting what we put out?
If you want to buy a house, lead a happier life, get healthy, whatever it is...be positive. Work hard on you, take care of you, write down your goals, believe in yourself.
